Co-op GROW Team Helping Farmers

Every growing season, farmers are presented with a host of opportunities and challenges.

From new varieties and crop inputs to emerging weed and disease issues, there’s a lot for growers to learn and master.

Thankfully, farmers aren’t alone.

The Co-op GROW Team is a community of more than 365 dedicated agronomic specialists who bring the latest crop production strategies and services to western Canadian farmers.

Meet the GROW Team

In recent years, agricultural technology and services have advanced quickly — and so has Co-op’s team of agronomists and crop input specialists.

“GROW Team is a community of agronomic specialists at Co-op Agro Centres who are passionate about agriculture and helping their farm customers win the day,” said Trish Meyers, PAg, CCA, Associate Vice-President Ag & Home with Federated Co-operatives Limited.

“Each GROW Team member brings education and experience to farmers and Co-op Agro Centres. When you visit a GROW Team member, you know you are receiving accurate, timely and relevant information from a local expert who is as excited about agronomy and crop production as you are.”

Across Western Canada, GROW Team members are available to assist with your farm’s needs, including:

  • Field scouting

“At Co-op Agro Centres, we are proud to provide members and customers with advanced agronomic services, as well as feed, fertilizer, seed, chemicals, fuel and grain storage and handling,” said Ron Healey, Vice-President, Ag and Consumer Business, with FCL.

“Agriculture will continue to progress at a rapid pace and Co-op will be there to help growers maximize every opportunity.”
