Agriculture is evolving at a rapid pace — and so is Co-op.
To ensure Western Canadian growers have the tools and information they need to succeed, Co-op Grow Team members are demonstrating new agronomic practices and technologies in crop varieties/hybrids, crop protection and crop nutrition products.
The Co-op Grow Team consists of more than 350 specialists who deliver innovative agronomic solutions and services to farmers across Western Canada. We’re hitting the field in a big way to let Prairie growers know what’s new, what’s available and what works.
INNOVATION FIELD TRIAL XTREME
Are you passionate about agronomy? If so, Co-op’s Innovation Field Trial Xtreme is for you. We’ve created a one-stop tour of the latest innovations in Western Canadian crop production at locations near Saskatoon, Sask.
Our unique, results-driven agronomic program is focused on improving productivity today while promoting a sustainable environment for tomorrow. At our Innovation Field Trial Xtreme location, the latest in fertilizer management will be on display.
To ensure Western Canadian growers have the tools and information they need to succeed, Co-op Grow Team is continuously evaluating the latest innovations. We strive to provide growers with first access to the right solutions for their farm. This summer we look forward to demonstrating these innovations at the Xtreme field trial site:
- Bio-stimulants: We will be looking at how bio-stimulants can affect crops through improved tolerance to stresses and increased yield quality.
- Moddus by Syngenta is a plant growth regulator that gives you versatility. You can grow the cereal variety you want, the way you want, and push your crop’s potential to heights you might not have thought possible.
Co-op Grow Team will explore, through in-field demonstrations, how an integrated approach to the following agronomic challenges can help growers implement solutions that meet their farm’s unique needs.
- Two new varieties from Nuseed (NC471 & NC527TF), a premiere Australian canola breeding company and subsidiary of Nufarm, will be on display.
- Understanding the agronomy of alternate crops to include in your rotation including faba beans, corn and forages.
Co-op’s Innovation Field Trial Xtreme is made possible through the support of our manufacturer-partners, all of which are committed to helping producers grow today and tomorrow.
